Component Room Types

The room inventory setup in HotelIQ should be based on the total physical room count of the hotel. The room count for component room types should be set as “0” and be excluded from the total room count in HotelIQ.

In a scenario where there is a reservation booked under a component room type, HotelIQ will report production against this room type, however the total Occupancy % in HotelIQ’s reporting will be understated.
