Sold Out Night by Agency Profile

Purpose: Highlight sold out or high occupancy nights where agencies are booking and potentially displacing higher value retail business.

How to Read the Report:

  1. Agency Profiles: Data is aggregated based on the Agency profiles associated with the reservations. Users can drill down by clicking on the “+” symbol next to the profile names to see production by segment and rate code. You can learn more about Agency Profile Management here.

  2. Total for Period: This section shows the total production for the subject date range by Rooms Sold, Revenue, and ADR.

  3. Total for Sold Out Nights: This section shows the subset of production for the subject date range that was booked on dates that match or exceed the “Sold % Threshold” (referring to the occupancy level above which a night should be treated as ‘sold out’ or high occupancy) selected in the filters.

  4. % Sold Out: Sold out nights and revenues as a percentage of total rooms sold and revenues for the subject date range.

  5. Revenue Displacement: Revenue that could potentially have been booked if retail BAR (Best Available Rate) had been booked for all the Agency stays on the high occupancy (sold % threshold) nights.

Displacement = (BAR ADR - Agency ADR)*Agency Rooms sold on sold out nights
