Edit Pickup by Activity Date
Net Pickup
Net pickup is displayed on this report for Rooms, ADR, and Revenue. This represents the difference between Start and End of Pickup date range.
Example: If the last 7 days is being looked at for pickup, and we are on the monthly tab looking at the Rooms picked up for May, the start is 1,851 rooms, and the end is 1,969 rooms, the NET rooms would be 118, which is the difference between Start and End of pickup date range.
Pick Up Start and End Dates
Example: If Jan 2 is selected as both the PU Start and End dates, the Start column shows data as of the close of business on Jan 1, while the End column is showing data as of the close of business on Jan 2.
For hotels on OXI API integration, the data from the hotel’s PMS streams into HotelIQ throughout the day and only gets loaded once a day, by 9AM (hotel local time) each day. If a reservation is picked up on Jan 2 at 8.30AM for instance, this reservation will be reflected in HotelIQ as pick up for Jan 1 instead. All reservations picked up after 9AM each day will be considered as pick up for the current date. Due to these timing differences, you may notice minor data discrepancies while comparing against your PMS reports.
For hotels on Scripts integration, all reservations that enter the PMS before night audit will be considered as pick up for the previous day. For instance, if the night audit process ends at 4AM each morning, all new reservations created before 4AM will be counted as pick up for the previous day, while all new reservations created after 4AM will be counted as pick up for the current day.
Additional Notes:
The Room Type breakdown in the Pick Up reports (Dimension view) will not match the production breakdown in the Room Type Analysis report, as the data are pulled from different sources in the backend. The data in the Pick Up reports is based on the Booked Room Type, while the Room Type Analysis report is based on the Stayed Room Type. Any differences or discrepancies between the two reports are due to in-house guests who have already checked in.
If the Pick Up Reports in HotelIQ are showing zero production, it could be possible that the daily data file transfer between your PMS and HotelIQ has failed the night before. Read more about data file transfer failures here.
