Data File Failures

If you've noticed that the data in HotelIQ is showing zero production or zero pick up, it is likely that the daily data file transfer process from your PMS to HotelIQ has failed the night before.

HotelIQ receives data files from your hotel’s PMS once a day, after the hotel’s night audit process ends. A fixed time window is set for each hotel in HotelIQ’s system to receive these files. If you are on HotelIQ Scripts integration, there are two common reasons why data files might fail:

  1. Your hotel’s night audit time has changed and HotelIQ isn’t aware

  2. There have been changes made to your server or server’s password

Our team receives alerts and notifications when data file transfer fails. We’ll reach out to your IT contact to request for the missing files and load them into HotelIQ as fast as we can. For more technical information, please read here.

For hotels on a Two-Way HotelIQ STR Data Feed, please note that HotelIQ will only submit daily data to STR once we have received the complete data files from the property. For more information, please read here.
