Unclassified, Unknown and Adjustment

Unclassified: Reservation with a dimension code*, but has no mapping in HotelIQ. To map Unclassified market segment production, please read here.

Adjustment: Reservation with no room nights, but has revenue (e.g. Posting Master, Permanent Folio)

Unknown: Reservation with no dimension code*. To map Unknown market segment production, please read here.

*Dimension code refers to the PMS market code, origin/channel/source code, geo source code, room type code or loyalty membership code

For Unclassified or Unknown channel, geo, room type or loyalty membership production, please email us at support@intelligent-hospitality.com to clean up your data.

Notes:

  1. Geo Data is pulled from the Country and State Code fields in the Guest Address section in the reservation. For US reservations, both fields must be completed to prevent Unknown production from appearing in HotelIQ.

  2. For hotels on API connectivity, HotelIQ pulls the Channel data from the Source Code field. If this field is empty, it pulls from the Origin Code field. However, if both fields are empty, it will fall under Unknown in HotelIQ. For hotels on Scripts connectivity, HotelIQ maps either your Source or Origin Code data only.
